My First Flyers Blog Post Ever!

So those of you reading this, you reading history in the making. This is my first, hopefully of many, posts about the Philadelphia Flyers.

I'm really posting this with a dilemma. I saw games 1,2 of the Stanley Cup Finals on TV: both losses for the Flyers.  I was not able to view games 3 or 4 of the series; both resulting in Flyers' wins. Does this mean that I should not view the rest of the series on television? I need some others opinions on this matter.  Anybody care to chime in on this issue? I'm leaning towards not watching it....

Its ironic. A few years ago, I would not have cared so much about the Flyers. However, during my sophomore year of college, I hung out with a diehard Flyers fan in my good buddy, Mr. Eddie Ratcliff. He began molding me to what I have become today. I began watching more and more Flyers games; slowing getting into the sport that is hockey. Sadly Eddie left at the end of the year.

However, another good friend of mine, Mr. Joe Klutchka began to pick up the slack on my Flyers fanhood. By last Christmas, I was a big Flyers fan; watching games and rooting on the Orange and Black. Thanks to Eddie and Joe, I would not have been as excited about the Flyers this year as I have been. I guess I picked the perfect time to really get into hockey, huh? It has been quite a run for or boys so far these playoffs and it is still not over yet. Lets keep it up Flyers! 2 more wins!

  1. This IS history in the making, because I think it's the first time that we both like a team from Philadelphia!! Now if we could just get you to like the Eagles...

I wish I could help you solve this critical issue. I'm more of a Flyers fan in spirit, having not watched any of the games, but I'm impressed by how they've managed to hold on so far in the Stanley Cup. So I'm sure I won't have any effect on the outcome. You, on the other hand...I'm not so sure. Hmmm.
